As you may have noticed, we have a new hotel.
Yes, after four years at The Clarion in Aberdeen, we are relocating to a new hotel. The reason (as if last year's attendees need to be told) is because of the crowded conditions. The attendance has grown every year and it was only a matter of time before we out-grew the hotel.
In an effort to avoid fire marshal issues, and so vendors and attendees have more elbow space, the 2010 event will be held at The Marriott Hotel in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
For those of you who complained about not being able to get through the hallways, for those who complained that it was standing room only for some of the events, we hope that moving to the new hotel will help with the situation. The crowd will continue to grow but there is plenty of room there to spread out.
This hotel is very popular outside the Baltimore area because it is host to a number of conventions throughout the year.
We are excited at the prospect of a new hotel and look forward to a long-lasting relationship with The Marriott Hotel.
