Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention 2008 Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention 2008
DINNER BANQUET
Radio theatre was an important part of our country’s performing arts heritage, bringing families together as they listened to comedy, drama, music, and adventure programs.

Donald Ramlow has been one of the leaders in preserving the rich heritage and art form of radio theatre through presentations on the many facets of classic radio, including program examples, sound effects workshops, scriptwriting workshops, and radio theatre production workshops.

Mr. Ramlow will be directing an old-time radio recreation after the buffet dinner banquet on Saturday night, with a talented cast and a crew of sound effects technicians.

BONUS ENTERTAINMENT!

Jeff Teate of Nothin' Up My Sleeve will perform on stage. Magic and comedy. He was a smash during the 2007 Convention and by popular request we are bringing him back!

THE EVENING BUFFET DINNER WILL BE IN A LARGER ROOM THIS YEAR.
LAST YEAR THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING THE DINNER WAS MORE THAN

The dinner is an all-you can eat buffet and a huge selection of food that will please anyone.  Besides the dinner, there is a brief awards ceremony, the raffle (yeah, that expensive raffle gift everyone is talking about), followed by the evening's entertainment as listed above.  You get your money's worth!

The Saturday night dinner banquet (6:30 pm, seating starts at 6) is sure to please everyone, but it is not included with the weekend admission.  The cost is $30.00 per person (which is a lower price than most of the conventions we've attended).  Dinner tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  You can pay at the door when you arrive, or in advance.
E-mail and ask to be added to the mailing list for convention updates!
