THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF RADIO (1976)
This dinner celebration was caught on camera and if you love old-time radio shows, this is a must-see! Stars like Rochester, Dennis Day, Don Wilson, Mel Blanc, and TONS of others appear in this special. Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy perform on stage. A group of radio veterans perform a short comedy skit. Steve Allen hosts, and much more! (You also get a rare glimpse of watching the sound man at work in a vintage 1940s film short where Fibber McGee opens his closet and all the junk falls out of it!)
THE GRACIE ALLEN MURDER CASE (1939)
One of the best Philo Vance mysteries ever made! A fitfully amusing screwball mystery with the scatterbrained Gracie as herself, constantly annoying Philo Vance in his investigation of a murdered convict. Laughs and thrills are included. This is a cute, enjoyable film.
GRAFT (1931)
Cub reporter Dusty investigates the murder of the District Attorney and stumbles into a plot involving a kidnapping and a crooked election. Stars Regis Toomey, Carol Sue and Boris Karloff in the last film he appeared in before playing the role of Frankenstein’s monster.
THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE : The Television Series
Several radio comedies made a success for the television medium during the 1950s. One of them was "The Great Gildersleeve," originally played by Harold Peary on radio, later replaced by Willard Waterman. From 1955 to 1956, a total of 39 episodes were filmed and broadcast based on the same radio comedy, with Willard Waterman reprising his role as the water commissioner. This 2-disc set contains eight classic episodes.

THE GREAT MOVIE PALACES
Two thrity-minute documentaries narrated by Gene Kelly about the historical value of the movie palaces and the days when such complexes were a grand thing to attend. The stage, the live orchestra, the luxury ... all gone now due to the change of times but this series documents the past that to this day continues to be demolished for parking lots.
GROUCHO MARX RARE TV PILOTS
In a January 1961 interview, Groucho was asked why he was shooting a pilot for a new show, with the classic YOU BET YOUR LIFE now off the air. Groucho answered, "I thought about not working, but the show gives me the only fun I have." With the series off the air and being rerun across America, Groucho Marx participated in three television shows that were actually pilots for proposed game shows that never made it to the air. "What Do You Want?" was filmed in January 1961. "Tell It To Groucho" was filmed in mid-1961. But the most unique television pilot is "The Plot Thickens" from 1963, with Groucho as a guest panelist - directed by William Castle and a script written by Robert Bloch!
THE HAND OF DEATH (1960)
A lost classic? Not really, but certainly a toughy to find. This campy little monster movie was shoved out by the studios and then shelved for decades. John Agar is a scientist who makes a mistake and finds himself turning into a “thing” that sets anyone to flame with the touch of his hand. Supposedly the inspiration for “The Thing” in the Fantastic Four comics.

HOT ROD FILM SHORTS
If you love the 1950s hot rod flicks, this is the DVD for you! My wife loves cars, watched this DVD, and admitted it was very amusing. Almost two hours of nostalgic, vintage film shorts. The final one, while not really qualifying as a film short about 1950s hot rods and street rods, is the one we get more feedback about.
“Ingenuity in Action” (1958)
“A Cool Hot Rod” (1953)
“Road Runners” (1952)

“On the Run” (1956)
“Show ‘em the Road” (1954)
“The All-American Soap Box Derby” (1936)
HOT RODS TO HELL (1967)
Tom Phillips, his wife Peg and their teenage daughter Tina and little boy Jamie drive through the California desert heading for a new life running a motel. Things go haywire when teenage bad girl Gloria and her two delinquent boyfriends, Duke and Ernie, chase them with Duke attempting to seduce the daughter, finally driving dad to take action. Stars Dana Andrews, Jeanne Crain and Mimsy Farmer.
THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES (1936 German Version)
Though there are no subtitles, anyone who knows the story can follow this film easy. On his uncle's death, Sir Henry Baskervilles returns from abroad and opens up the ancestral hall on the desolate moors of Devonshire. Holmes uncovers a plot involving a terrible trained hound. This was one of two films found in Adolf Hitler's bunker by the Allies in 1945.
HOUSE OF HORRORS (1946)
An accent on the macabre highlights this story of mad sculptor Marcel De Lange, who seeks revenge on the art critics who have badmouthed his work, dooming him to a life of poverty. A deformed killer who snaps people's spines, named "The Creeper," (played by Rondo Hatton) helps assist with the crimes until a falling out creates a real house of horrors. Also stars Moartin kosleck, Virginia Grey and Robert Lowery.
THE HOUSE OF USHER
This DVD features three film versions of the Edgar Allan Poe horror story. The 1928 version with Jean Debucourt as Sir Roderick Usher, another 1928 version but the second with Herbert Stern as Roderick Usher, and the 1949 British version with Gwen Watford as Lady Usher and Kay Tendeter as Lord Roderick Usher. If you love this classic horror tale, this is a must-have!

THE HORN BLOWS AT MIDNIGHT (1945)
Stars Jack Benny as a band trumpeter who falls asleep and dreams he’s an angel deputized to blow the last trumpet at exactly midnight on Earth.
